Well, it's been a couple of months since I've been to The Habit. This was probably my last time. Two disappointing trips . The last time I discovered no more steak sandwich which I can live with as it probably wasn't too popular so it had to go. This time, I discovered they now have started charging for ranch dipping sauce. See picture I decided against another expenditure for my meal. Thank you, California, for the $20 an hour worker cost, which is probably part of this decision to charge for ranch. The food was still OK, but I'm pretty sure the burger has shrunk, too (could be my imagination but probably not).

Today, my wife and I went to a restaurant, and we were treated terribly. The attendant must hate her job because she was incredibly unfriendly and made us wait for about 10 minutes before taking our order. We ordered two Santa Barbara Char combos that cost $37. When I went to pick up the order, I asked for a ranch sauce, and she said I would have to pay extra for it. This is absurd and disrespectful to the customer. We spent $37 on two combos, and we still had to pay extra for sauce? Do you know when I'll return to The Habit? Never again in my life. This is why the place is always empty. I shouldn't have stopped there and should've gone straight to In-N-Out, where everyone is friendly and they don’t charge extra for sauce. Goodbye, Habit!

It’s no lie!
I’ve been a habit customer for years, and this is the best location so far.
Everything about this location is 5 stars, the staff is friendly, it’s clean and nice on the inside, and there is a patio to enjoy your meal outside. The food, was so delicious I felt like I never had a burger quite like it! The strawberry limeade is sweet and refreshing, and the burgers and fries are flavorful and well cooked. The spicy tempura green beans are a must have, with a slight kick of cayenne (I think haha!) come here, you will NOT regret :)

First time at The Habit with no Drive-through. I had to go in can you believe that? Lol! I’m glad I did great customer service. Nice to see a nice diversity of workers also. Nice and clean dine in area.

Food great, served to go very fast, servers super helpful but just damn cold in there. Even for the 10 min I wait for food. Which is not long, and I get staff is running around and around a hot grill. But for the patron walking in, its chilly. Ill still continue to go, but maybe do a curbside pick up next time. Food delicious and staff are awesome 👌
