I have been in the shopping plaza many times but this was my first time at The Cut. I ❤️ hamburgers and felt hungry enough for a large juicy burger. I'm always on the lookout for unique and creative variations. I walked in and was greeted when I sat down at the bar area. I decided to try the original hamburger and considered a beer before deciding on a glass of water. RJ was there with a smile. I noticed that on the menu, a particular burger can only be served one way. I respected that knowing that I like my burgers "well done. " I asked for the sweet potato fries and RJ suggested I try their unique sauce. I agreed and had almost forgotten to tell RJ how I like my burger cooked when he asked me. I was happy he asked! After a few minutes they brought out what you see in my pictures. Great presentation, it looks delicious. The bun was soft with toasty edges and the sweet potato fries were similar. I'm not sure if this is the standard or not but they put plenty of sauce to go with the cheese. " If it doesn't get all over the place..." I didn't mind the extra sauce but it's worth noting that it's a large burger and you'll need a napkin. I had taken two bites and was just taking my third when RJ walked up to ask how everything was tasting. I looked down and saw the pink middle of the burger. I was suddenly disappointed. I turned the plate around to show the pink center of a medium-rare burger. He quickly picked up my plate and apologized. He took it to the back area and had them prepare another burger. I sat waiting again feeling a little grossed out but appreciated RJ's quick action. While waiting, I was hoping that the kitchen wouldn't interpret "well done" to be equal to a bit charred or burnt. They didn't!! I got my next plate as I had ordered and finished my burger. I left with a full belly and although I felt like something was missing. I will still recommend and return to The Cut. 🍔

Was visiting from out of town and always on the prowl for great burgers during my travels. There are some truly great burger joints in So Cal and The Cut is right up there with the best of them. I always start with the basic burger, and this one did not disappoint. Cooked perfectly to medium rare and seasoned well with a burger to bun ratio that was spot on. The bun held up well and I devoured it immediately. The fries were fantastic as well with plenty of garlic and seasoning to satisfy my needs. The atmosphere is positive with plenty of seating and access to the outside world. Staff was a pleasure to chat with and seemed very proud of the business. Will definitely return when in the area.

First, this unpretentious looking outer building is bland and in a strip mall. In we went to find a welcoming interior.
The burgers were absolutely amazing. I was skeptical over the price, but open minded. When I tasted the burger, I realized why the prices seemed a bit higher. The meat was premium, seasoned to perfection. Yes, Handcrafted really means it.
They had a great selection of craft beers on tap also.
You will dream about this place after your visit!

The Cut makes a good+ burger. They tended to be a tad undercooked vs order, but was juicy and tasty.
I lowered stars because a family of 3 - each ordered Burgers (one was a kids meal), 1 soft drink and 1 beer was $85. That is just too high a price for this type of meal.
