Nicely decorated with all the typical fixins of a hip brewery, it's biggest downfalls are the beer selection, (absent) food selection, and rude bartender
If you want amazing beer or a great selection... don't come here. They have a few of the staple choices like lagers, IPAs, and seltzers but there's nothing too exciting scrolling up and down looking at the list. I ordered 4-5 of these and they were all "decent".
The bartender was also very unfriendly, curt, and didn't talk much, and didn't give any great suggestions when asked. He was polite for the most part but just left a bad taste in your mouth after most interactions.
There is lots of seating and the outdoor area is really refreshing to just hang out in.
There's also no food here but we got a togo pizza and fries next door!

Delicious beer and friendly staff!
I got the Aloha Guava beer; it was really light and I I liked it a lot. For two beers plus to, it cost around $18. About the right price in SoCal.
The area gets really busy Saturday afternoon; it took me awhile to find parking, so check about all breweries around.
Come and try!

Family friendly brewery nestled in the business district of Costa Mesa. A short walk from a few other breweries in the area. Plenty of indoor seating with a cozy patio that's dog friendly! Food trucks occasionally and a great selection of beers!

Ok beer relative to the other breweries in the area but great location and vibe. Often you’ll find a local artist playing in the outdoor patio area.
Great place to hangout and catch up with friends, family, or coworkers

Great new spot to add to the collection of breweries in the area! The decor at Salty Bear is amazing, with lots of seating and a gorgeous outdoor patio. The staff is very friendly and the beer was tasty! About 12 different options offer a good variety of brews.
