Food here was great, service was good as well, stopped in here while traveling for work and i definitely was too full to work after 😆. Chicken and waffles will always be a staple no matter where you go. The atmosphere is great since it’s a little shopping center and there’s dozens of other places you can visit after getting a bite to eat
Came to try the chicken waffle sandwich. It was really good! I got the spicy and asked for coleslaw instead of lettuce or whatever comes on the spicy option, also got the seasoned taters . The seasoning on the taters was a bit overpowering so next time I’ll either get the waffle fries or get plain taters. I like the drink options, they have coffee and iced coffee as part of the fountain drinks option. The Coleslaw is a bit tartary so next time I’ll ask for it It in the side. Great service! Oh and they have great ranch upon request!

They changed their menu and got rid of all things pesto, including my favorite: the green eggs and ham special! :0( So disappointing!
But their lemon cream and berries waffle is SOOOO delicious and tasty!!! That is now my new favorite.
We also got their loaded fries and it was pretty good. But the cheese tasted like the fake kind. Kinda grainy.
Our hostess/cashier was super friendly and helpful!
We also happened to get great parking!

Bruxie is a great breakfast / lunch cafe type option in the Downtown Brea area. Specializing in their take on chicken and waffles (and waffle fries!) the sandwiches we had were yummy and fast and nice service rounded out the experience. Sitting outside watching the world go by was nice on a day with good weather.

BEST FRIED CHICKEN AND WAFFLES 🤩 I recommend the original chicken and waffle sandwich over the Kickin’ Nashville chicken and waffle sandwich. I ordered the kickin’ Nashville chicken and while the chicken was perfectly fried and crispy and yummy, it wasn’t spicy at all and also the whole sandwich was slathered in this mayo? based sauce that I was not a fan of. The more bites I eat the more sick of the sauce I got which is not good. But the original was perfect! The combination of honey, fried chicken, and waffle all cooked to perfection was just beautiful. And they also have great crunchy coleslaw on the top which balanced what could have been too heavy of a dish. Stick with the original :) Also highly recommend the strawberry lemonade!!! It was soooo good
