So many flavors and such variety for seafood lovers! It also has a variety of other options including steak, burgers, and lamb. Perfect blend of ingredients. Terrific staff who checked on us and made the evening special. Located on the water. Big space with beautiful jellyfish lights and lots of tables. My mom who likes quieter places would not be a fan, but I enjoyed the vibe. Make a reservation on weekends! $8 valet parking.

I really wanted to love it. Never been here before. It’s by the bay so right over the water. Very romantic.
The French fries looked and tasted like they were double fried. Did not like it. The Bouillon restaurant in Newport Beach on Bristol and all the restaurants by the Hillstone Restaurant Group such as Bandera, Gulfstream and R&D have the best French fries.
The Chilean sea bass was great but tell them to drop the Udon soup. It wasn’t tasty. Actually, the opposite.
The wine list is some of the best around Newport Beach. For the selection and price too!

The Cannery is truly a fantastic and excellent eating place that was our second visit, and we will definitely be going back a few times when we're back in Irvine, California. Great place, great staff, and wonderful food and drinks. 👍🏾♥️ It might look expensive but with four of us and plenty of drinks including two bottles of champagne. Good value. 👍🏾

A really mixed night. Service was excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Location was great and we were lucky to get outside seating with a view of the water. Calamari to start with was excellent, tender and well seasoned. Cup of clam chowder was also excellent. Mains were a big letdown. Salmon was way overcooked as was the mahi. The jambalaya had a strange aftertaste and the shrimp while plentiful were also overcooked. We got sides of Brussels sprouts and broccolini which were bland and in the case of the sprouts barely edible. Finishing deserts were average, would avoid the pumpkin cheesecake. Great start but let down by some poor main courses and deserts

This is such a fun place to come to. Makes a fun outing getting in the boat and heading over to the Cannery. The staff at their dock are really great and everyone inside is awesome.
The food is fantastic and the history of the building really makes the atmosphere. It's always a great time when we have any meal over here.
