No issues with the food. I ordered a Level 5 Vege Croquette Omelette curry. It was a good level of spice, still okay to eat comfortably if you enjoy a spicy kick with occasional sips of water. Also because it was rather spicy I think I needed more rice (Large). The regular plate is pretty normal sized, not too much as seen in the photo. Anything lesser is about an ice cream scoop size. You can always add more rice later for $1 if needed. They also have free pickles which went well with the curry rice and helped with the heat. My partner ordered Zero level spice, it was great too. It was still flavourful if you enjoy it without a spice fix, perhaps slightly more tangy & grounded flavours compared to the spicy ones.

Overall nice experience. We ordered the chicken cutlet and udon curry with a side of fries. The curry was excellent and I chose level 15 spice which really upped the game. The servers were quick and kind also. The only let down was the fries. You could tell that they had been fried in old oil as they tasted quite burnt with a rubbery texture. That aside, I highly recommend for a curry dish as it is their specialty.

We had to wait about 10 mins on a Friday night. We ordered the chicken katsu curry. I added tofu and okra which made the meal much more filling. My boyfriend added vegetables to his curry and his potatoes weren’t fully cooked, they were still hard in the center. The chicken katsu was room temp, not hot which led me to believe they have some premade. He did spice level 4 and it was pretty spicy, but very good. I did regular spice and didn’t taste any spiciness. Service was good and food came out quick within 5-10 mins.

This place has the best Japanese style of curry. We have tried pretty much all the dishes, I would still recommend the classic one: Chicken cutlets and veggies, the one will make you full and the flavor is good. The portion for other dishes is just ok and it can be expensive if you add some more toppings. Also It can be a little heavy if you pick the spicy level above 5. The service is good and fast, the line can be long during meal times.

This Japanese curry house is a top spot for authentic flavors. For a real kick, try spice level 7 to experience both heat and flavor. Their combination chicken cutlet with vegetables is my go-to, and they offer tasty add-ins at a reasonable price. However, I've noticed a considerable reduction in portion size recently. The Keema can be hit or miss, sometimes thick and flavorful, other times watery. I wasn't a fan of their minced beef cutlet; I recommend sticking to chicken or pork. The staff is friendly, but be prepared for crowds in the evenings and on weekends. Join the wait-list beforehand for a smoother experience, and rest assured, the service is fast.
