This was our first time in San Clemente and at this restaurant, and we enjoyed it.
The service was outstanding. Happy we decided to stop in while walking down the street.
My San Clemente margarita was strong and delicious.
The food was good. We had the Thai wings and coconut shrimp appetizers.
We also had the salmon bowl and the Hamilton burger.
The salmon bowl was a beautiful presentation. My only "thing" was that the salmon was cooked a bit too hard for me, and therefore was a teeny bit dry. I ate some of it.
The burger was cooked perfectly and the garlic truffle fries were delicious.
We'd definitely stop in again should our travels take us to San Clemente again.

Great find. My wife and I foolishly rode into Dan Clemente on a Saturday night looking to walk in somewhere for dinner and everywhere was packed! Super friendly welcoming hist was able to seat us right away. The food was excellent. We started with the Poke nachos (we lived in HI for 6 years so we have high standards lol). They were very good though, not as much poke on top as some places but this actually highlighted many other ingredients like the Avocado and other toppings. They were actually poke nachos, not just chips with fish. I got the jalepeno burger, which aside from having more raw red onions that I prefer, was fantastic in every other way. My wife got the Italian flat bread which was also very good. Drinks were very tasty and the rustic ambiance was nice.
Would recommend swinging by here for comfortably prices, tasty food.

Stopped in for a late-ish dinner and the poke nachos did not disappoint! The bar tender was very helpful in picking out a possible mocktail (lavender blueberry, sooo delicious, not too flowery) and I enjoyed watching the NHL playoffs at the bar

H.H. Cotton went above and beyond in short notice to host a pre wedding party due to OC tavern canceling the event as they closed their doors for good. Everything was spectacular, service, food, and the perfect atmosphere.

Came for the beer, left for the food. Food was definitely american, but portion size was french. 4 small jalapeƱo poppers is $12. Service was to be desired. Burgers were decent at least but not $16-17 decent. Do not order the engine60 its like a gourmet version of a school lunch tray for $23 .
