I really enjoyed this restaurant/bar. My friend and I arrived early in San Juan and wanted to enjoy a nice breakfast. This was the only establishment that was opened at 8 a.m. We were the only ones there at the moment, so service was swift & the lady who took down our order was very nice. I had an avocado toast & he had the 2 egg breakfast. The food was phenomenal. We both loved the potatoes & everything was just plated and cooked to perfection.
We decided to go back for a late lunch and we're not disappointed. We had 2 Lagunita IPAs & ordered the Paddy burger as well as the Chipotle burger. The burgers were huge, and we both were not able to finish them, but they were delicious. 😋
I will definitely be coming back here every time I'm in San Juan Capistrano. It's very convenient, just a short walk from the train with excellent customer service and a wide range of inside and outdoor seating. I definitely recommend this place!

with plenty of seating.

The staff was really good. People were friendly. Got my drinks really fast and the food was tasty. Wasn't very busy though, Mid afternoon. Have great outdoor seating to watch the traffic & people.

Went to Hennessy’s Tavern, which is located in the ♥️ of San Juan Capistrano for the 1st time last night.
It’s located in the cutest and oldest area known for swallows (the birds) and one of the oldest missions ever built in CA.
Back to the tavern…. Large capacity inside as well as an outside seating
Good menu with typical food…burgers, fries and chicken tenders which is nice.
The bartenders make a good cocktail. At times , there’s Live entertainment
Would I go again…?
