No frills typical Vietnamese restaurant with simple decor and mom and pops service model. Overall good value. Not the best I had, average, but good value with cash payment and 3% charge with card. #15 seafood for me with mix noodle. Broth was a bit overpowered by the egg noodle. Pork fat was not as crispy but again still enjoy the bowl. My favorite in the US so far is Phanh Ky Hu Tieu Mi My Tho in Houston on Bellaire Blvd.

Dirty is right at your face! The food was terrible. It was a joke when they called themselves “number one hủ tiếu “. They may have bought ratings ! There is no way it can be rated 4 stars.

(Via Eat the World Los Angeles) - If you have ever walked around the streets of Ho Chi Minh City, there is a good chance that you sat down at a stall offering hủ tiếu nam vang. Throngs of people sit on colorful plastic stools under sidewalk trees to enjoy this ultra-economical bowl of noodles on a daily basis. The stalls and carts they order from display the ingredients of the bowl for all to see, while steaming cauldrons of broth are ready to be ladled. Like those vendors, there is only one dish featured here at Hủ Tiếu Đệ Nhất, with various options for each bowl.

The previous time they forgot fish cake and quail egg in both of our bowls, we called right after got home to let them know and they said would "make up" for us next time (was a male caller). This time we mentioned the last incident (with a male employee) but no apology was made?! We asked for 3 extra PIECES of pickled jalapeno to fully up the portion cup because my aunt loves their jalapeno, but got charged an extra $2 without noticing?!

Popular Vietnamese/Chinese noodle restaurant. We picked the chewy glass noodles/yellow noodles Special but you also have the choice of Beef Meatballs, Seafood and Char Siu. The noodles were great and chewy. The broth was not flavorful as expected but they had garlic n pickled peppers so that was alright. They also didn't provide a lot of greens if you care about that in your noodles. Overall a good local spot for noodles if you don't want to get to Westminster. It can get crowded during weekends n it's not opened Tues.
