I love this place from the duck fat pretzel bites to their mac & cheese. Today I had the grilled chicken tacos, which were fantastic and a couple wheat beers. My wife had the mesquite chicken sandwich was she enjoyed quite well too.

For more than two years I am a regular at Karl Strauss because in my view it is the by far best brew pub / sports bar in the Anaheim / Orange area. The top three reasons are as follows :
1. drinks : about two dozen different beers on tap, all of them local with a huge variety of types and tastes. I suggest to start the evening with one or two beer flights and finish it of with one
of your favourites ( mine is the high octane Wreck Alley ... )
2. food : high quality of dishes and a menu which goes beyond the usual sports bar food. I suggest to try one of the bowls ...
3. staff : very friendly, supportive and competent service people who make you feel welcome and at home.

Food is great. Beers are great. Kids mune us awesome. They love the giant bowl of parmesan butter noodles. Event parking here of $30 is comped with your bill if you eat here.

They have really great food and really great beer! We ordered the garlic fries and humus appetizers and were all really impressed. For the mains most of us ordered the salads but loved it! The salmon bowl was great too but honestly the chop salads were bigger portioned. Would definitely come back and explore the menu more, everyone was very happy with their order!

Overall, a pleasant dinner with a fun flight of beers and delicious burgers, sausage, and mac n cheese. We went during a game so it was actually super empty inside which was totally fine. They do have a happy hour so maybe next time I'll check that out instead.
Burger: Get
This was fantastic and the juicy patty was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Each bite was so flavorful and definitely better than any fast food burger
Mac n cheese (side): Get
I feel like this place overhyped this mac n cheese to be some magical experience but tbh it was just okay. Don't get me wrong it was tasty but it's not really worth all the hype.
Sausage: Get!!
This was amazing and I couldn't get enough of it. Two different kinds of sausage, paired with yummy sweet potato fries, topped with some pickled veggies.... this hit the spot so well
We got a huge beer flight and it was very enjoyable to try a lot of them with some being better than others but ultimately they were all fun.
The service was very warm and welcoming which added a lot.
