The crab cakes? Frozen, I'm pretty sure. The shrimp and scallops? Overcooked and rubbery - like chewing on a shoe. And don't even get me started on the orange slice, which seemed to have been left over from the Clinton administration.
But hey, the clam chowder was... watery! And the service? Top-notch... if you only need your waitress to visit your table three times.
BUT, there's hope! those oysters were shucked and presented like a work of art! And the cocktails? On point! So, here's the deal: if you want amazing oysters and decent drinks, King's Fish House is your spot. Just don't expect much else.

Very comfortable environment with classy up-scale nautical theme. While sitting at the oyster bar I enjoyed watching Natalia shuck and prepare beautifully presented dishes of oysters, clams, mussels, scallops, and crab from the fresh cold menu.
The platter was fantastic with a wide range of east and west coast oysters and a suite of other shellfish to enjoy. The sauces and beer menu all added to what was a fantastic seafood feast at a reasonable price.
Highly recommended if you're a seafood fan

We had a great lunch at King's Fish House after we watched Cirque du Soleil Kooza in Laguna Hills, CA. We got there after the show let out so lots of people scrambling for seats but you did not need to wait to grab tables by the bar which worked out great for us. Service was good and friendly but due to the large crowd that came in after the Kooza show was a little slow. We tried the Oysters which were good, the grilled Yellowtail and the Kings Combo Platter which were excellent. Nicely decorated and fun restaurant.

We make reservations, so they seated us as soon as we arrive. We love the seafood here. The oysters were fresh and delicious. We also ordered the sea bass, calamari and the shrimps with scallops. The ambiance is very nice. Friendly and attentive staff. They have outdoor seating which is nice since so. Cal spring weather is relatively nice. They also have a bar which is nice for a cold beer or a cocktail. Highly recommended.

I'd definitely come here with reservation because it was hard to find a table even at 5 PM. it could've been because it was holiday time but we had to wait like 30 to 40 minutes to be seated. the waiters were more friendly than the host. the food was okay, nothing amazing, but it wasn't terrible either. everyone enjoyed what they had and nothing was fishy or offputting.
