My family and I had dinner here last night. I recommended this place because the last time I was here, I thought the food was pretty good. It's been a while since I last visited here. We each got our own meals and shared 1 dish together. The bill was almost $100. Very expensive!! Don't get me wrong, the food was pretty good, but the price was a little over the top, especially for 3 people who ordered 1 thing for themselves and all together shared an appetizer. Aside from that, it wasn't that busy when we got there. There wasn't a table/booth big enough that was ready for us right away (needed someone to take away wine glasses and wipe down booth). The staff was kind. The atmosphere was great. Loved the music playing in the background. Overall, we enjoyed our food. We just hope the prices will come down eventually.

I frequented Lupe’s quite a bit so I know when something isn’t right. And right now, something isn’t right. Just look at this photo of my Lupe’s in Cali burrito. This is one of their top signature burritos- one they proudly put their name on. Barely any meat, just filled to gills with fries because otherwise it is just a taquito sized $17 burrito. I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon until they really start taking their portions seriously again. Will be sharing the unfortunate news with my circle of friends and family that i introduced and recommended to Lupe’s. They deserve to know what’s happening too.

The food was ok, very pricey. Almost $5 for a soda. Too much. The burrito tasted good but not worth $15. Maybe a $10 burrito.

Very authentic Mexican food. The cashers can’t really speak English too well but they were very friendly.

Went to visit Lupe's on a whim to try their burritos and tacos. As it is Lent season, seafood tacos and burritos were the choices of the visit. Ordered the shrimp burrito and it was pretty hefty on weight and had a nice soft chewy mouth feel as soon as I bit into it. It was fairly juicy, savory and the snap of the shrimp was well received. The fish tacos were of the same feel as well. My only concern was that their salsas were not spicy enough. Literally felt no heat from their spiciest sauce. I would definitely come again but I would bring my own hot sauce to compliment the burritos they serve.
Bonus: the taste of the horchata they serve reminds me of the smells of Main street @ Disneyland.
