One of my favorite neighborhood restaurants that has been around a very long time.
The ambiance is like Thailand town at night - dark with warm lighting. Oldies but goody with full bar that’s pretty much like Chiang Mai’s bars.
The food never disappoints. I brought people here and the food was crowd pleaser. The service is super efficient.
The location is just perfect for a meeting point from South OC and North OC. It is right off the highways I5/405 and there are many places to visit around the area - antique shopping, the missions, cinema, music festival by the beach, Dana Point harbor …

This place is amazing! I always get the lunch specials, but I still need to try the dinner items. The Minty Pork is the best bang for your buck. Lots of delicious meat in this dish. The place is dog-friendly too, which is a nice plus. Seating outside is very limited but lots of seating inside.
The top dish is the Shrimpy meal.
The bottom is the Minty Pork with soup, salad, and wontons it comes with.

We ordered the pad Thai and perfect harmony chicken and they were both delicious and the price is more than reasonable!! Service was great. I'd definitely come here again.

Felt rushed out of here. We were brought the check without asking for it yet as well as a box to take our food to go and we didn't ask for it yet either. There wasn't any people in the restaurant, only one other table whom had barely arrived, so I don't know what the rush was. It felt that the lady didn't like us. Won't be coming back. The Hot & sour Tom Yum soup tasted really bad too, it was the worst Thai soup I've ever tasted. The Fire eater plate was so so. It felt like we were being kicked out of the restaurant, and that the lady wanted us to leave already, while the restaurant was totally empty except for one table.

Nice enough staff, and a good looking spot to dine in although a bit of a maze.
The meals we ordered were not good however, completely overcooked shrimp almost beyond what you could call edible, poorly prepared and mushy vegetables, overly salty/underseasoned gravies, and shockingly small portion sizes. Portion size to cost ratio is terribly skewed, I would be unhappy paying half of what the dishes cost, a frozen version at Trader Joe’s would cost far less, be more authentic, and taste infinitely better. I am not certain what I ate was Thai food at all, which may reflect the seemingly nonsensical menu options littered with puns to the point of being nearly incomprehensible.
This place has quality wait staff, excellent location, and the area attracts foodies, now the kitchen only needs to rethink their baffling interpretation of food. I don’t think I can stomach going back anytime soon, but I wish them well as I ponder why Google can’t allow me to give 0/5 stars for ‘Food’.
