    Trackside Tavern
    All California wine list with over 80 bottles, all Southern California beer list, no imports. No Bud Lite, Coors Light. No Coronas. We have sourced all beer flavor profiles from Southern California to satisfy all palates. We have 12 local drafts and many local bottles. Our extensive wine list brings the world of wine varietals to San Juan Capistrano with California-sourced wines from all over our beautiful state. The overwhelming majority of our wines are sustainably farmed and have received over 90 points or higher from Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, Vinous, etc.

    Our cocktail program provides the freshest, garden-to-glass offerings that utilize our on-site, Trackside Garden of fruits and vegetables, as well as our living wall of herbs and other veggies. Our Beverage Director, Robert Hernandez, has carefully crafted a strong list of delectable cocktails.     Really enjoyed seating outside listening to live music and watching trains pass by every now and then. The restaurant is located a few feet from the rails and has a welcoming outdoor and indoor seating. I recommend outdoor for larger parties. Service was great, food was good, and ambiance was welcoming.

    Enjoy the sights and sounds of San Juan Capistrano as you sit and relax outdoors or indoors. Located right next to the Amtrak train tracks. Saturday afternoon had live music. Good size bar area in the outdoor covered dining patio. Prompt and friendly service, delicious food, crab cakes appetizer comes as two and can be a meal, with a wide variety of options on the menu. Was told their menu is seasonal.

    The restaurant is in a great location and has such a nice outside dining area, there’s a bar outside as well. The staff was fantastic and so was the food. The menu had lots of different options. Basically something for everyone. But dessert was the true star! The carrot coconut cake and the toffee pudding cake are exceptional! The ice cream has to be made in house, it was the best I’ve ever had in my entire life, and I get around lol

    We absolutely love Trevor's at the Tracks! From the moment we arrived, our experience was top-notch. Our server was incredible—always checking in with us, engaging in friendly conversation, and providing quick service. We were seated just in front of the tracks, and watching the trains go by added a unique charm to our day. The food was amazing and the portions were not only generous but incredibly tasty. The atmosphere with the live music was both uplifting and fun, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. This place really nails the casual sophistication vibe, central to great shopping and dining options. You could easily find yourself sipping cocktails on the patio, people-watching, and soaking in the live music. Hearing and seeing the train pass by was such a fun experience, and it truly elevated the ambiance. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!

    This is our family’s go to restaurant whenever we visit San Juan Capistrano. My son loves trains so we usually pick a table outside. They have live music on the weekend and overall it’s just very pleasant to dine there. I also want to shout out to Raul who has always been so helpful. Last time our son had some vomit and I felt so sorry the staff has to clean it (no one likes vomit! It’s gross) and after cleanup, Raul asked us if he can give our son some ice water to make him feel better!
