When you first enter the restaurant, you might think the restaurant is not that good, the place is just pretty old in general. Though it made me feel like I was back in Vietnam. People are very welcoming and the food was great. It wasn't that expensive either. I enjoyed the goat and sheep meat here. Recommended!

The owners used to own Vietnam House in San Gabriel on Las Tunas. Now they're down here in Orange county and they brought their bomb food with them. They also do catering. Delicious egg rolls made with the thin clear rice paper so it's super crispy.

A small hole in the wall of a place, but don't let that deter you from the treasure that is this restaurant.
The food is absolutely packed to the brim with flavor, while still maintaining that home-cooked taste. Their Mi Ko (mine being the BBQ pork and shrimp) had just the right amount of sauce to be moist and delicious while still maintaining that "dry noodle" its supposed to be. The balance of flavor and texture is nailed right on the head with this dish.
The service is friendly and feels as if you're sitting at a kitchen table being served by the host as opposed to just an everyday customer. While the atmosphere isn't anything to write home about, ultimately you go to a restaurant to eat and that's what this place does right. Vietnam house 08 is definitely a must try amongst the popular heavy hitters that dot the OC area.

My frist time here and I gotta say, it's was pretty good. I had the glass noodles, which were good and the soup broth was tasty. If your in the area and have the craving this is your spot.
