I’ve been waiting for a decent Taiwanese hot pot spot nearby for a really long time and ZZ Hotpot House is definitely hitting the mark!
The ZZ Hotpot Special has the broth that’s about 80% similar to the classic Taiwanese 3 mom Stinky Tofu hot pot brand (三媽臭臭鍋) which is already a win in my book! It even comes with a piece of pork blood cake and a few slices of pork intestine, trying to represent the authentic taste. (Almost there as my point of view.)
The Taiwanese Spicy Hot Pot is served with beef slices by default, and unfortunately, they don’t allow substitutions for pork slices so I skipped it this time.
The Seafood and Japanese Hot Pot came with two fairly large shrimps, what a nice touch.
Veggies are generously piled under the hot pot, so you get plenty of greens in every pot.
They offer four different sauces each table for you to mix and customize to your liking.
Compared to Boiling Point, this place has a more diverse selection of Asian-style hot pots, including flavors from Vietnam, Thailand, Korea, Japan, Sichuan, Nanjing, and Mongolia. Right now, they have a happy hour deal (Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM) where each pot is just $14.95, and it comes with a free drink plus your choice of white rice or glass noodles, I consider super worth it!
This spot is definitely going on my go-to list for those lazy days when I don’t feel like cooking.

Such an underrated restaurant! 💗🍲
They offer a decent range of hotpot flavors and a bunch of other dishes as well! It was our second time coming and we were quite impressed. Compared to other hotpot places that we've been to, the flavors were pretty similar and had a decent amount of toppings. Our favorite part is that they offer a stamp card which is so unique!
* Beef Hot Pot: 7/10 - good amount of meat and veggies
* Thai Style Hot Pot: 8/10 - nice broth
* Honey Kumquat Tea: 9/10 - my family enjoyed it
We came when they first opened and there seemed to be only 1 person working during that time. Even though he was scrambling, he managed to serve all the tables efficiently. My sister and I believe he deserves more than he gets paid.
The place is a lot more spacious than we remembered so there are plenty of tables to sit at. It's located in a large plaza with a bunch of other restaurants so parking shouldn't be too difficult but can get crowded at peak times.
We'll be sure to return regularly and try all their other items!

We had dinner on lunar new year with no reservations for 12 people. They accommodated us by moving around tables and chairs. It was great service. We ordered a lot of food and everything came out at a good pace considering the volume. I has the Saltado fries for the first time and it was shockingly good!

Great tasting hot pot. I chose the Lamb, yum! Menu is thru the QR code, and you can buzz for the servers when you need them.
Hubby had the beef, with plenty of veggies to compliment.
The kids shared the garlic salmon wtih fried rice. It was plenty of food for 2 hungry kids after a morning of sports activities. We ordered truffle fries and popcorn chicken as appetizers for variety 😋
They also gave us complimentary iced tea, tasted like fruity mango- that was very good too!
Good quality food for a good value.
Not too busy at 2:30pm. Plenty of parking in the shopping center too 👍🏼

Comfort food!! Delicious variety of soups and garlic noodles! The garlic noodles were packed with flavor and the green sauce that came with it was AMAZING! I like my soup hot so it was nice to have it boiling and you’re able to request it to turn off at anytime. I also love the dipping sauces. Service was AMAZING! Everyone was so friendly and we even got some milk tea at the end of our meal👍🏼
